Mediabrands appoints CEO of rebranded Velociter investment arm

New York—Mediabrands Worldwide, New York, announced that Tim Hanlon has been named CEO-managing director of Velociter, the agency’s newly rebranded strategic partnership and investment arm. Velociter is the evolution of Mediabrands’ Greenhaus, a unit formed last year to foster development of marketing communications programs through partnerships with entrepreneurs and investors. Hanlon was previously exec VP-managing director of Publicis Groupe’s VivaKi Ventures.
