Seattle--MediaPassage Inc. and OneMediaPlace have decided to merge their two companies, creating a company that offers software for planning, placing and paying for Internet advertising as well as a marketplace for buying space from publishers. The new company will be headquartered in Seattle, with offices in New York, Chicago and San Francisco. The combined company will attempt to stretch its services to include the management and purchasing of advertising in print, television, radio, outdoor and cable mediums. The combined company expects to handle $1.2 billion in advertising transactions in 2001.
