'Mediaweek,' 'Brandweek' to be folded into 'Adweek'

New York—Mediaweek and Brandweek published their final issues on Monday, according to media reports. Prometheus Global Media, which acquired the publications in 2009 from Nielsen Business Media, will fold the two titles into Adweek, as had long been rumored.

Notes posted on Mediaweek.com and Brandweek.com said the websites “will become part of the new, completely redesigned Adweek.com.” The notes also promised “more video and new interactivity.”
