Melissa Data partnership to help ID undeliverable direct mail

By Published on .

Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.—Data verification and mail-management company Melissa Data has partnered with UAA Clearinghouse, a repository for confirmed bad mailing addresses, to help marketers identify and suppress undeliverable names and addresses in their mailing lists.

Through its partnership with UAA Clearinghouse, Melissa Data will enable its customers to identify and remove undeliverable addresses that cannot be identified using traditional address hygiene processes, such as those provided by U.S. Postal Service change-of-address requests.

UAA Clearinghouse works with magazine publishers, telecommunications and financial services providers, and private mailbox providers to gather alternate, consumer-reported change-of-address notices on 350 million mailings per month.
