Melissa Data releases data hygiene tool

Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.—Data verification and mail management company Melissa Data Corp. has released a new software service to help integrate various formats and sources of marketing database information into a single view of information.

The company’s Data Quality Components for SSIS tool provides solutions for data profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization and matching, according to the company.

Data quality components help issues that require immediate attention and corrects them; verifies contact data, including addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses; corrects data values to meet specific business rules and standards; and consolidates and merges customer records into identifiable groups, Melissa Data said.
