Melissa Data releases Web-based data hygiene program

Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.--Melissa Data Corp. Monday announced the release of Contact Zone, its new Web-based data hygiene program for Microsoft Outlook. Contact Zone verifies street addresses, corrects misspellings, updates area codes, and fills in missing data in real-time. "It's intended for the small- to mid-sized market," said Jack Schember, media relations manager for Melissa Data. The Houston Chronicle has been using the program for the past few weeks for its circulation database.
