Meredith Corp. takes stake in mobile agency The Hyperfactory

Des Moines, Iowa—Media and marketing company Meredith Corp. has taken a strategic stake in New Zealand-based mobile agency The Hyperfactory.

Meredith said the liaison will enhance Meredith Integrated Marketing, its business-to-business unit which—since 2006—has added interactive marketing services firms O'Grady Meyers and Genex, viral marketing leader New Media Strategies, health care marketing communications specialist Big Communications, and database strategy and analytics company Directive.

Auckland, New Zealand-based The Hyperfactory, whose clients include Coca-Cola Co., Kraft Foods and L'Oreal Group, has offices in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York in addition to several overseas cities. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
