MeritDirect creates strategic services consulting division

White Plains, N.Y.—Database marketing company MeritDirect has grouped several of its separate services into a new consulting department, putting an emphasis on advisory services that go beyond the company’s traditional focus on lead-generation list rentals and brokerage.

MeritDirect’s new Strategic Services Group combines under one umbrella the company’s consulting services on campaign analysis and planning; catalog design and layout; circulation planning; database construction and marketing; lifetime value; merchandising; strategic planning; and telemarketing.

The division also will consult on dynamic display advertising, including remarketing using the company’s Merit Digital platform; customer prospecting activities for catalogers using b2bbase, MeritDirect’s cooperative membership database in collaboration with information services company Experian; and consultancy on “insert media,” marketing materials that are inserted into other communications, such as catalogs or packages.
