White Plains, N.Y.—List management companies MeritDirect and Worldata have won management of two major publishers' subscriber lists. MeritDirect is taking over management of the Forbes newsletter subscriber list and Worldata nabbed Newsweek subscribers. The Forbes email list consists of 217,000 subscribers to such newsletters as “Forbes Investment Guru Weekly” and “Forbes Stock of the Week.” Formerly managed by Worldata, the list is priced at $175 per thousand names. Also, Worldata is the new manager of Newsweek's email subscriber list. That list of more than 1 million names, also priced at $150 per thousand contacts, formerly was managed by Lake Group Media.
