Columbia, Md.—Customer relationship marketing company Merkle Inc. has acquired New York-based Brilig, which specializes in digital data exchange for online advertising. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Brilig's technology enables data sellers to offer data to buyers through an open marketplace. Using the technology, advertisers have access to more than 60 data sellers and over 10,000 segments from off- and online data for digital campaigns.
The acquisition is designed to complement Merkle's CRM data management suite and augment the company's Big Data solutions.
