Michael J. Lavery, Audit Bureau of Circulations

Published on .

What:President-managing director
Where: Audit Bureau of Circulations
Why:Reflecting the transition of media to the Internet, "we have extended our audit services into the verification of Web activity of our members," Lavery said. For example, the Audit Bureau of Circulations board voted in July to adopt a new multimedia Publisher's Statement for business magazines. The new form allows publishers to report Web site activity, e-newsletter activity and pass-along receivership data within Paragraph 1 of the ABC report. This change is effective with the December 2008 reporting period.
