Michael is Co-Creative Director and head of the Interactive Media practice at Doremus San Francisco. Leading creative teams that concept and create strategic campaigns for clients: HP, Intel, and Corning keep him [mostly] out of trouble. With an education grounded in both electrical engineering and the fine arts, Michael has always sought roles that allow him to leverage both foundations. Serving technology clients in a creative role is where Michael excels and it was that opportunity that led to his joining Doremus, as a partner, in 2006. Always the early adopter, and with a strong affinity to technology, computers, gadgets, and mobile devices, Michael not only understands the technology, he also represents the audience his clients are trying to reach. Formerly Creative Director for digital media pioneer Razorfish (where Michael led the creative and user experience initiative for Microsoft's Windows Live and Windows Mobile), Michael grew up in New Zealand and was educated in Auckland, before coming to the US in 1995. Michael lives in Mill Valley, just north of San Francisco, with his 9 yo daughter. He enjoys street car track racing, gadget hacking, photography, cooking from scratch, wine, and is a self-confessed espresso addict.
