Microsoft adds Internet marketing features to CRM product

Redmond, Wash.—Microsoft Corp. has added Internet marketing features to its on-demand customer relationship management product, Dynamics CRM Online, which the company introduced earlier this year. Microsoft said the new capabilities will allow users to create search engine marketing campaigns, capture sales leads from company Web sites and weigh a marketing campaign’s effectiveness according to conversion and click-through rates, among other features. Microsoft said the update is the first in a series of modifications planned for the online product. —Christopher Hosford
