'Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine' to be renamed 'Redmond Magazine'

Chatsworth, Calif.--101communications’ Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine announced Thursday that it will change its name to Redmond Magazine.

The change will take effect with the October issue of the monthly magazine.

The magazine--which takes its new name from the Washington state city where Microsoft Corp. is headquartered--will also feature a new look and tagline, “The independent voice of the Microsoft IT community.”

Henry Allain will remain publisher of the renamed magazine; Doug Barney will be editor in chief.
