Microsoft kicks off ad campaign

Indianapolis—Microsoft unveiled a new ad campaign for Internet Explorer 8, featuring PSA-style “Special Internet Service Announcements.”

The campaign was created by Bradley and Montgomery and highlights various Internet afflictions, such as F.O.M.S. (“Fear of Missing Something”) and S.H.Y.N.E.S.S. (“Sharing Heavily Yet Not Enough Sharing Still”). The video ads are running on social media sites and on a microsite at www.browserforthebetter.com.
