Redmond, Wash.--Microsoft Corp. and KPMG Consulting, New York, have formed a practice to help companies set up e-businesses. The practice, Microsoft Dot.com, will build Internet business programs that run on Microsoft's impending Windows 2000 software. KPMG Consulting will hire 500 consultants to work for the Microsoft Dot.com practice.
