Microsoft .Net advances for b-to-b

Published on .

Milpitas, Calif.--Pacific Magtron International Corp. said Tuesday that it has built one of the first operational supply chain management demonstration systems based on Microsoft Corp.'s .NET network architecture and BizTalk Server 2000 software. The Pacific Magtron system allows multiple businesses to monitor sales occurring throughout a distribution chain as they happen. Also, it gathers information about the transactions, analyzes and distributes it to partners, and makes strategic recommendations based on the findings. Pacific Magtron's LiveMarket division will market the new system under the trademark ‘LiveExchange.’
