New York -- Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Wash., is exploring a settlement in the antitrust case brought against the company by the U.S. Department of Justice and 19 states, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday. The proposed settlement talks come in the wake of Palo Alto, Calif.-based Intel Corp.'s tentative settlement in the antitrust case filed against it by the Federal Trade Commission. Microsoft's trial is to resume April 12.
