Microsoft runs one-day 'blowout' campaign for Office XP

Redmond, Wash.--To coincide with the launch of its Microsoft Office XP software, Microsoft Corp. on Thursday is running a "blowout" online ad campaign on USAToday.com, for one day only. The campaign, developed by USAToday.com's advertising solutions group, features an animated pencil scribbling in an online ad with the message, "Don't lose your temper at work," which then changes into "Office XP with Document Recovery." The online campaign is supported by a four-page pullout ad in the Money section of Thursday's USA Today newspaper.
