Mid-market manufacturing CFOs see recovery

Glastonbury, Conn.--Fleet Capital Corp. released the results of a survey of chief financial officers of 300 middle-market manufacturing companies that showed 69% expect the U.S. economy to rebound by the end of the third quarter of 2002. An even higher total-92%-expect the U.S. economy to have passed through the recession by the end of next year, barring another terrorist attack on U.S. soil. An even more bullish 40% expect a rebound by next year's second quarter.
