Mike Rusbridge, Chairman-CEO, Reed Exhibitions Worldwide

When Reed Elsevier put advertising-dependent Reed Business Information up for sale last year, it decided to retain the $1.4 billion exhibition unit, which produces 470 events in 37 countries. (RBI was later taken off the block.) At a media investment conference this year, Rusbridge said Reed Exhibitions, with just 20% of its business in the U.S., was investigating acquisitions here.
