Miller Freeman merging IT publications

Published on .

San Francisco--Miller Freeman is merging Data Communications magazine into Network Magazine. The move is one in a series of print magazine closings since Miller Freeman acquired CMP Media earlier this year. Maintaining a circulation of about 200,000 and incorporating 25,000 Data Communications readers, Network Magazine will continue to reach information technology and network managers with new strategy and product reports. The magazine, Miller Freeman says, will complement CMP Media's Network Computing, which focuses on lab-based testing of IT products and services.
