New York—e5 Global Media announced Wednesday that Janice Min has been named editorial director of The Hollywood Reporter. Min was editor in chief of US Weekly from 2003 to 2009. She previously held positions at In Style, Life and People.

“Janice dramatically transformed the landscape of entertainment journalism, and she is perfectly suited to lead The Hollywood Reporter’s business-to-influencer coverage of the global entertainment industry,” Richard Beckman, CEO of e5 Global Media, said in a statement.

Last month, e5 Global Media hired another leader with a consumer entertainment magazine background when it named Lori Burgess as the new publisher of The Hollywood Reporter. Burgess had been publisher of OK! since 2008.
