Does mobile marketing have a future in your company?

Marcia Danzeisen, senior VP-global marketing and communications, Fidelity National Information Services

“We have no plans right now on mobile marketing, but I just had a meeting with C-level executives in financial services companies, and they've found mobile to be effective with their own end customers. So we want to be a vehicle in helping them. As we focus on building out enterprisewide marketing programs, we need to focus on this for our clients' clients. Having said that, to me text marketing messages are irritating. They imply just-in-time urgency; and, to me, to have someone marketing to me that way is almost a violation of my spare time.”
