Monster.com hires Rick Boyce as VP-ad sales

Maynard, Mass.—Monster.com has hired Rick Boyce as its VP-advertising sales, a newly created position for the job-matching Web site.

Prior to joining Monster, Boyce was senior VP-business development at Rooftop Media. In the 1990s, he was founding sales director at Wired Digital, the Web companion to Wired. When Wired Digital was acquired by Lycos, Boyce led ad sales there before becoming president and head of sales at IGN Entertainment.
