Moose River acquires ‘American Nurseryman'

St. Johnsbury, Vt.—Moose River Media, which covers the green and agricultural industries, has acquired Chicago-based American Nurseryman Publishing Co. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The transaction includes American Nurseryman, its book division and affiliated electronic properties. American Nurseryman has covered the commercial horticulture industry since 1904.

“American Nurseryman is an ideal addition to our portfolio of products and services,” Korry Stagnito, president-CEO of Moose River Media, said in a statement. “It extends our reach across the green industry supply chain, and we're confident that our readers and advertising partners will benefit from the synergy.”
