Motorola moves media to Carat

New York—Motorola has awarded its media account to Carat, according to a report on Motorola and Carat executives declined to comment. In a statement issued by Universal McCann, Motorola’s previous agency, a Motorola executive said the marketer and agency have "mutually agreed to part ways." Motorola spent $29 million in measured media in the U.S. for the first 10 months of 2004, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR, and $25 million for all of 2003.
