Motorola starts b-to-b messaging site marketing drive

Schaumburg, Ill.---Embattled mobile telecom giant Motorola Inc. has introduced a site dedicated to marketing its b-to-b wireless messaging solutions. The site includes marketing literature for Motorola's platforms and sales support and will soon add an online product training certification program. Motorola recently launched a print advertising campaign, running in publications including The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, to back the site. The introduction comes several months after Motorola, which is reeling from a slowdown in its mainstay mobile platform business, said it would cut 4,000 jobs.
