Motricity to acquire mobile business unit of InfoSpace for $135 million

Durham, N.C.—Motricity, a provider of mobile content services, announced an agreement to acquire the mobile services business unit of InfoSpace for $135 million in cash. The deal is expected to close within 90 days. Upon closing, Ryan Wuerch will remain as chairman-CEO of Motricity. Steve Elfman, currently exec VP of InfoSpace’s mobile services business unit, will become president-COO of Motricity.
