Reed Business Information has promoted Scott Falzone to VP of ReedLink, the media company's recently launched vertical search engine. Falzone joined the company in March 2003 as manager-corporate strategy & development. He was later promoted to director-Internet strategy & development and led the development of online partnerships, particularly with Google and Yahoo!

Huey to take editorial mantle at Time Inc.
Time Inc. chose John Huey to succeed Norman Pearlstein as the company's editor in chief, starting Jan. 1. Huey is currently Time Inc.'s editorial director and formerly was managing editor of Fortune.
CMP Media's Electronics Group hires two editors
CMP Media's Electronics Group has hired two industry veterans to beef up its electronics engineering content: Bill Schweber, as analog editor of EE Times, and Clive Maxfield as site editor of Programmable Logic Design Line. The two joined CMP from Reed Electronic Group's EDN Magazine, where Schweber was executive editor and Maxfield a columnist.
