Shah succeeds Poleway as president of Time Inc.

Chris Poleway is out as president of Time Inc.'s Business and Finance Network and has been succeeded by Vivek Shah, according to an internal announcement distributed late last month by Time Exec VP John Squires. The New York Times Co. announced that Yasmin Namini has been promoted from senior VP-circulation to the newly created position of senior VP-marketing and circulation for the New York Times Media Group. Namini will be responsible for marketing the Times' brand across print, Web and mobile platforms, as well as circulation and distribution of the print version of the Times, its electronic edition and TimesReader, a digitized version of the newspaper.

Hanley Wood picks Calore as `Builder,' `Big Builder' publisher

Hanley Wood has named Jeff Calore to the newly created position of publisher at Builder and Big Builder. Calore previously was general manager and VP-sales for 1105 Media's Government Information Group.
