MPA names Sarcone senior VP, president of PIB

New York—Anthony Sarcone has been named senior VP-marketing initiatives and insight for MPA, the Association of Magazine Media, where he will oversee research activities. He will also serve as president of the Publishers Information Bureau, the MPA-administered member organization that provides magazine advertising spending and related data. Sarcone was most recently owner/partner of Solveris Marketing Communications, a company he founded in 2008. He reports to Mary Berner, president-CEO of MPA.
