MPA's PIB to switch to quarterly reports

New York—The Magazine Publishers of America said it would discontinue its monthly reports on ad pages and ad revenue booked by major magazine publishers and move to quarterly reports. The MPA's Publishers Information Bureau said it was making the move to provide "broader context" on the supply and demand of magazine ad pages and to dissuade advertisers, ad agencies and media analysts from drawing conclusions based on monthly reports.
