MSNBC.com gets new look

Published on .

Redmond, Wash.--MSNBC.com Monday unveiled a redesign intended to make the site more user-friendly.

The changes include providing users one-click access to more sections on the site and an updated search tool.

Additionally, NBC News programs, such as “NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw,” are now highlighted in the navigation bar.

"MSNBC.com's redesign takes advantage of new publishing technology based on the Microsoft .NET framework," said Scott Moore, president of MSNBC.com, in a statement.
