New York—The first-ever National Magazine Awards for Digital Media were announced Thursday. Of the 12 winners, one was a b-to-b brand. Billboard.com, which is now owned by e5 Global Media, won for Design, Digital Media, which honors the “appearance and usability” of magazine Web sites.
Another b-to-b title, IEEE Spectrum, was a finalist for two awards but did not win.
The awards are presented by the American Society of Magazine Editors and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. New York magazine won two awards, including general excellence.
