‘National Review Online’ adds new search capabilities

Princeton, N.J.--National Review Online said Friday that it has tapped Netrics Inc.’s LikeIt brand of search technology on its site, www.nationalreview.com. The National Review will use Netrics search engine techniques to provide ``proximity phrase recognition’’ searching capabilities to its users. Proximity phrase recognition provides good information even when the reader inputs inexact phrasing, phrases with missing words or spelling errors. Kathryn Lopez, executive editor of National Review Online, said the new techniques will allow National Review readers to search numerous databases while doing research.
