Gainesville, Fla.—Naylor, which provides b-to-b communications for trade and professional associations in North America, has acquired Convention Management Group, a full-service event management company.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1990, CMG also focuses exclusively on serving trade and professional associations. Its current portfolio includes the American Meat Institute’s International Meat, Poultry and Seafood Expo and the International Dairy Association’s Food, Dairy and Beverage Show. The acquisition is designed to add event management capabilities to Naylor’s suite of print and online media services.
Media investment bank Jordan, Edmiston Group Inc. represented CMG in the transaction.
