NBC Internet raises $280 million

San Francisco--NBC Internet has raised $280 million in a follow-on public stock offering. The offering was for 3.65 million shares of Class A common stock at 81 3/8 per share. NBC Internet, the Web subsidiary of National Broadcasting Co., will use the money for potential acquisitions and international expansion. NBC Internet recently bought AllBusiness.com for $225 million in stock.
