New York—NBC News Wednesday announced plans to deliver hourly updates and select portions of its network and cable news programming via podcast beginning in June.
NBC News will offer hourly podcast updates, which will be accessible via MSNBC.com. Programming will include news and business headlines from MSNBC.com as well as "White House Beat" and "Techwatch."
NBC News content is currently delivered via broadcast television, cable TV, the Internet, cellphone (NBC Mobile), digital television (NBC Weather Plus), satellite radio (XM Radio) and terrestrial radio (NBC News Radio).
"This is one more way that the power of NBC News is made accessible to our audience," NBC News President Neal Shapiro said in a statement.
