Net Perceptions lands ZDNet

Minneapolis--Net Perceptions, Minneapolis, said Tuesday that its Ad Targeting software has been licensed and is operating on the technology Web site ZDNet, San Francisco. It is Net Perceptions' biggest win to date for its Ad Targeting software, which uses artificial intelligence rather than demographic data to customize advertisements. Priced between $25,000 annually for smaller sites to $400,000 for an unlimited annual enterprise license, the Ad Targeting software works at the end of the advertising delivery equation--after the ad-server company has completed inventory management and segmentation functions--to deliver advertisements based on such factors as user behavior on the site, time of day, frequency of visits and keyword searches.
