NetGenesis releases tracking with analytics, actions

Published on .

Cambridge, Mass.--NetGenesis Corp. released Monday a new version of its Web analysis software, which it says provides marketing analytics and recommends Web site tweaks based on customer behavior. The new release is a major step for NetGenesis, which was one of the first companies to sell software that gleans customer data from the Web server. Priced at $125,000, the fifth generation of NetGenesis' product includes E-Metrics Solutions Suite, which delivers data in the standard On Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) format. In turn, marketers can now run custom queries against the OLAP data in ways unavailable in earlier versions of NetGenesis' product.
