NetRatings acquires NetCrawling

New York--Internet research firm NetRatings Inc. said it has acquired NetCrawling S.A., which develops and markets LemonAd, an online advertising monitoring service in Europe. The new service will be branded Nielsen//NetRatings LemonAd, and will be sold in European markets including the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
