NewWorld charts video marketing deal

Published on .

Seattle--E-marketing campaign company NewWorld Direct, Dublin, Ireland, has announced a deal to license streaming video technology from Vendaria Inc., Seattle. The deal means that NewWorld will be able to deliver steaming video marketing messages embedded within Web sites and e-mail, and viewable by browsers with modem speeds as slow as 36 KBps, well below the average speed of a b-to-b browser. The licensing deal was announced at the DMA's Net.marketing spring 2001 conference and exhibition.
