NextMark enables electronic exchange of mailing list orders

Published on .

Hanover, N.H.—NextMark Inc., a provider of direct marketing software, announced it has released a new version of its software platform to buy and sell mailing lists. Included among 42 new features in the software is the ability to electronically transmit mailing list orders.

"Electronic exchange of list orders has been a dream for many in the industry for a long time," said Joseph Pych, NextMark's president, in a statement.

"Despite the huge benefits of moving orders electronically, the expense and the hassles of the technology used in prior efforts prevented widespread adoption.”

Pych said unlike previous attempts, NextMark's implementation is peer-to-peer and does not require a central authority to intermediate and track all transactions.
