New York—The National Hockey League and the NBC Sports Group announced a 10-year television and media rights deal that will extend through the 2020-21 hockey season. With the deal, NBC will remain the NHL's exclusive broadcast partner and Versus, the league's exclusive cable partner.

The NBC Sports Group will televise 100 regular season games per year and obtain digital rights across all platforms and devices for the games it televises. The NHL said its television ratings in the U.S. have increased 84% over the last four years.

The NHL has increased its b-to-b marketing partnerships in recent years with companies such as Cisco Systems.
