Nielsen announces new online and mobile measurement services

New York—Nielsen Co. announced two new services for online and mobile measurement.

Nielsen Online is comprised of the company’s Nielsen//NetRatings and BuzzMetrics services, which provide measurement and analysis of online audiences, advertising, video, blogs, user-generated media and word-of-mouth marketing.

Nielsen Mobile combines Nielsen’s recently acquired Telephia, which provides a measurement service for the telecom and mobile media industries, with existing Nielsen services in the mobile market.
