Nielsen forms alliance with Wolters Kluwer Health

New York—Nielsen Co. and Wolters Kluwer Health have formed the Healthcare Consumer Informatics Alliance.

The alliance is designed to provide health care manufacturers and media companies with a deeper understanding of consumer behaviors and attitudes in order to deliver effective marketing communications messages. The first service unveiled by the alliance is HealthScape, which provides data on patient purchasing combined with attitudinal and behavioral information. —Kate Maddox
