Nielsen Holdings acquires NeuroFocus

New York—Nielsen Holdings, a global research company, announced the acquisition of NeuroFocus, which uses neurological testing for market research. Financial terms were undisclosed. Under the acquisition, NeuroFocus will become part of Nielsen's Product Innovation practice. NeuroFocus uses neuroscience techniques including brainwave research, eye tracking and skin conductance to measure customer engagement and attention.
