Nielsen names Farrar president of Nielsen Business Media

New York—Nielsen Co. on Friday named Greg Farrar, a 20-year Nielsen veteran, president of Nielsen Business Media, effective immediately.

Farrar, who was most recently COO, has been in charge of Nielsen Business Media since former CEO Bob Krakoff died suddenly in March.

Farrar is responsible for the direction, operations and growth of Nielsen Business Media and oversight of its management team. Nielsen Business Media's brands include Adweek, Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter, among many other trade publications. The portfolio also includes the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show and Outdoor Retailer trade show.
