Nielsen rolls out cross-platform service

New York—Nielsen Holdings has introduced a cross-platform service called Nielsen Online Audience Segments-TV viewing, which links TV viewing with online behavior. The service is aimed at media buyers and sellers, and segments TV and online viewers based on demographics, viewing behavior, online behavior and other data collected from Nielsen panels of TV and online users. Microsoft Corp., Specific Media, Undertone and Videology are among the clients signed to use the service.
